How it works
The lens focuses the laser into hundreds of tiny points; beneath each one a very small cavity (a laser-induced optical breakdown zone) forms in the upper dermis while the epidermis is barely damaged. The body fills these tiny injuries with new collagen and elastic fibres, and as that process accumulates over several months the floor of scars can rise and pores and texture can become more refined. It is the same device as pigment toning, so the two are sometimes done on the same day.

How long do PicoWay Resolve results last?
Refined scars and pores tend not to revert, but skin ageing and new acne continue, so the maintenance interval after the programme is decided in consultation based on your progress. Please use sunscreen consistently after treatment.
Does PicoWay Resolve hurt? Is anesthesia used?
Anesthesia: Numbing cream. Discomfort is about 2 on a 5-point scale.
