How it works
Laser toning passes a wavelength that is absorbed selectively by melanin over the whole face at low energy, breaking down pigment in the epidermis and upper dermis a little at a time for the body to clear. Instead of delivering the same energy in a single pulse, Brightone splits it into several pulses so heat does not build up at one point, which means less discomfort and redness and makes it well suited to sensitive skin on a regular schedule. Where PicoWay targets distinct pigment, Brightone is used to keep the overall tone clear.
Ideal for
- A dull, uneven tone
- Light melasma or spots managed without downtime
- Sensitive skin looking for a gentle toning option
- Regular care between other pigment lasers
