A long-pulsed vascular laser that uses two wavelengths in one device — 755 nm alexandrite and 1064 nm Nd:YAG. From fine red capillaries to thick bluish vessels, leg veins and cherry angiomas, the wavelength is chosen, or the two are used in sequence, to match the colour, size and depth of the vessel; cooling protects the surface, so apart from brief redness at the treated spots you return to your day right away. The device is the Lutronic Clarity II, cleared by the U.S. FDA for benign vascular lesions.

How it works
With a long pulse, the light is absorbed by the haemoglobin inside the vessel and turns into heat; the whole vessel warms gradually until its wall coagulates, and the closed vessel is absorbed by the body over the following weeks. 755 nm is absorbed by haemoglobin more strongly, so it works well on fine, superficial red vessels; 1064 nm penetrates deeper and is less affected by melanin, so it is the safer choice for thick bluish vessels, leg veins and darker skin. Both reach deeper than a 595 nm pulsed dye laser, which lets them treat deep vessels that V-Beam struggles with, and on one vessel they are sometimes used in sequence — 755 nm to warm it first, then 1064 nm to finish.
Ideal for
- Thicker vessels that show through blue
- Leg capillaries and veins
- Cherry angiomas (small red spots)
- Deep vessels that did not respond well to V-Beam

When do results from Clarity Vascular Mode start to show?

How long do Clarity Vascular Mode results last?
