How it works
Focusing ultrasound on a single point heats only that spot to about 60°C or more, creating a 1 mm thermal coagulation point. Lines of these points are placed at 1.5 mm (dermis), 3.0 mm (deep dermis) and 4.5 mm (SMAS). The collagen there contracts, and over the following months new collagen forms, which can gradually tighten the tissue. The surface and upper dermis are largely untouched, so you can return to your normal routine right away. The PRIME platform (2024) treats about 20% faster with a 35% larger screen, making it easier to place energy at the right depth while avoiding bone and vessels.
