How it works
Dissolvable threads such as PDO are layered in several directions in the subcutaneous layer of the hollow area; the threads themselves create volume and support right away, so the hollow is reduced and sagging tissue is held up. Over several months the threads break down, leaving collagen and fibrous tissue in their place so the volume gradually becomes your own natural tissue. Its advantage is that it fills with your own tissue without spreading or clumping like filler, and it is sometimes planned together with lifting threads on the same day.
