How it works
Botulinum toxin temporarily blocks the signal the nerve sends to a muscle, reducing that muscle's force. In these special areas the muscles are small and close together, so placing a very small amount at the exact point is the key. For the nostrils the flaring muscle, for a gummy smile the muscle that lifts the upper lip, for the mouth corners the muscle that pulls them down, and for a pebbled chin the chin muscle are each slightly relaxed so that only that area changes. For the fox-eye lift, the muscle that pulls the outer brow down is reduced so the outer eye appears lifted. MIMISOME BUSAN uses four products — Hitox, Coretox and Innotox (Korea) and Xeomin (Merz, Germany); they differ in duration and resistance risk, so the product is chosen together at consultation to suit your goal.
