How it works
Botulinum toxin temporarily blocks the signal the nerve sends to a muscle, reducing its force. Because the trapezius, calf and upper-arm muscles are large, the dose is divided across several points, and a muscle that is used less than before loses bulk over several weeks. For the trapezius the neck looks longer and the shoulder line drops; for the calves the muscle line that bulges outward softens. The dose is set within a range that does not interfere with everyday movement. MIMISOME BUSAN uses four products — Hitox, Coretox and Innotox (Korea) and Xeomin (Merz, Germany); they differ in duration and resistance risk, so the product is chosen together at consultation to suit your goal.

Small bruises at the injection sites are common and usually fade within 1–2 weeks, and for the first few weeks the muscle may feel weaker when used, which you get used to gradually.
