How it works
A small amount of blood is drawn from the arm and spun in a centrifuge to collect the platelet-rich plasma (PRP). Platelets carry the growth factors that rebuild tissue when a wound heals; mixed into hyaluronic acid filler, they support collagen production in the surrounding skin while the filler restores volume. Because it is your own blood, the risk of a reaction is low, and texture and firmness can improve along with volume compared with filler alone. It is placed evenly over a wide area with a needle or cannula.
Ideal for
- Broad hollows such as the forehead or cheeks
- Improving volume and skin texture together
- Those for whom fat grafting is a concern
- Those worried that filler volume might look artificial
