MIMISOME Clinic Busan Deokcheon (the "Clinic") protects your personal data in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act and the Medical Service Act of the Republic of Korea. The Clinic is located in Korea; all personal data is processed in Korea and governed by Korean law.

· Optional: date of birth, areas of concern and treatments of interest (health-related sensitive data)

Retention period

· Online booking and enquiry data: deleted 1 year after collection
· Marketing consent records: until consent is withdrawn
· Medical records: 10 years under Article 15 of Korea's Enforcement Rule of the Medical Service Act (3 years for duplicate certificates, 2 years for prescriptions, per statutory periods)
· CCTV footage: within 30 days of recording (longer where required by law or investigation)

Processors and international transfers

Booking requests are delivered to our staff through the services below, then entered into the clinic's electronic medical record (treatment and booking management) system.
· Make.com (Celonis SE) — automated transfer of booking data / outside Korea (EU, USA) / processed on receipt, not separately stored
· Telegram Messenger — booking notifications / outside Korea / deleted after staff review
You may decline cross-border transfer and book instead by phone (+82 51 710 5923) or through our chat channel.
※ The Clinic is located in the Republic of Korea. Data you submit will be transferred to Korea and may be further transferred to the services above. Submitting a booking constitutes your consent to these transfers.

Disclosure to third parties

The Clinic does not provide your personal data to third parties, except with your separate consent or where required by law (for example, a lawful request from investigative authorities).

Sensitive (health) data

Information about your areas of concern, treatments of interest and medical history is sensitive personal data under Article 23 of Korea's Personal Information Protection Act. We obtain your separate consent when you submit a booking and use it solely for consultation and treatment. You may still book by phone without giving this consent.

Children under 14

Treatment of and processing of personal data for children under 14 is possible only with the consent of a legal guardian. We verify guardian consent and promptly delete the data where it cannot be confirmed.

Your rights and how to exercise them

You may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or suspension of processing of your personal data at any time, and may withdraw marketing consent at any time. Contact us by phone (+82 51 710 5923) or email ([email protected]) and we will act without delay. Access to and copies of medical records follow Article 21 of Korea's Medical Service Act.

Deletion of personal data

Personal data is destroyed without delay once the retention period expires or the purpose is fulfilled. Electronic files are permanently deleted beyond recovery; paper documents are shredded or incinerated.

· Purpose: facility and fire safety, theft prevention, patient and staff safety

Through our website the Clinic provides (i) treatment and event information, (ii) online booking requests, and (iii) enquiry intake. The Service is for information and booking intake only and does not replace medical care or diagnosis.

Booking requests and confirmation

An online request is a booking enquiry. Your reservation is confirmed once a coordinator contacts you by phone or messenger. Your preferred date and time may be adjusted based on the schedule and treatment suitability.

Changes, cancellations and no-shows

Please tell us by phone or messenger by the day before if you need to change or cancel. Repeated no-shows without notice may limit future bookings.

Event pricing conditions

· Event pricing applies only to bookings made and treatments performed within the published period.
· Listed prices are for non-covered (private) treatment and exclude VAT. Your final cost may differ depending on treatment area, dosage and number of sessions.
· Trial pricing may be limited to first-time recipients of that treatment.
· Event content may change or end after prior notice, and cannot be combined with other discounts or partner offers.

Payment and refunds

If you cancel before treatment, you receive a full refund. If treatment has been partly or fully performed, we refund the balance after deducting the treatments performed and materials used; specific terms are explained at your pre-treatment consultation.

Your responsibilities

You must provide accurate information when booking and, for your safety, tell our medical team truthfully about any underlying conditions, medications, previous procedures and pregnancy. The Clinic is not liable for outcomes arising from inaccurate information.

Medical outcomes and side effects

The effect, duration and recovery time of any treatment vary with your skin condition and constitution. Side effects such as swelling, bruising, erythema, pigmentation, infection and pain may occur. Please decide only after a full explanation from our medical team. Information on this website is general guidance and does not guarantee individual results.

Posts and reviews

Copyright in reviews and enquiries you write remains with you; the Clinic uses them only within the scope you have agreed to in advance. Content that infringes others' rights or is false or exaggerated may be removed after prior notice.

Limitation of liability

The Clinic is not liable where the Service is interrupted by events beyond its control, such as natural disaster, communication failure or system error. Where a booking request is found to have been missed, we will contact you again promptly.

Personal data collected through use of the Service is protected in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes are resolved by agreement in the first instance; failing agreement, jurisdiction is determined under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
